Sujet:
The project recognizes that the learning environment, its capacity, tools and content representation, is undergoing a major change. This change will call for "new literacy" skills and capabilities and it has already begun. It is important to identify those characteristics of this “new literacy” that give each of the written word, the visual image and sound representation their appropriate place, and to develop environments and tools that will assist in transmitting knowledge among and between learners and teachers. The TELTEXT project aims at developing the ultimate diverse and interactive environment for adaptive teaching and learning of texts.
Expertises demandées:
They are looking for:
- Experts from the academia who are studying similar environments
- Experts in OCR technologies, development of technology enhanced learning tools
Partenaires recherchés:
The partners can be:
- Research Institutions and Universities to carry out the research part
- Academia end users as a test-bed to use the TELTEXT environment for higher education learning needs
- Industrial end users as a test bed to use the TELTEXT environment for on the job training
- Industrial hi-tech companies specializing in OCR etc'
The proposer is looking for a coordinator.
